Fabiola Hosu

Fabiola  is a qualified teacher and an education entrepreneur whose journey revolved naturally around children and teaching ever since she can remember. She graduated from the University of Bucharest, Foreign Languages Faculty in 1999. Her studies continued with a BA in Education Sciences and an MA in Education Management. After over 12 years of teaching English Literature at the University of Bucharest, back in 2004 she decided to follow her dream and founded a Nursery based on the principles of internationalism, multiculturality and British guidelines and best practices. In 2004 she also started the most complex and most important research activity in her career: developing a new educational concept meant to offer students depth through its contents, relevance in its application and purpose throughout time. What seemed only a dream is called today Questfield School and consists of a Nursery, a Primary School, and a Secondary School, guiding the learning journeys of over 200 children. She has over 20 years’ cumulated experience as a teacher, trainer, researcher and a Founding Member and Board Member in one of the most important voices in the education NGOs network: the Federation Coaliția pentru Education. She sees herself as a collector of methods, a pragmatist in terms of pedagogical thinking, and a teaching designer, thriving on good practices and methods. Education gives her meaning and she cannot imagine living her life anywhere else than where she belongs, amidst her students and her team of teachers.
